- releases back to back has almost become a habit for Dhanush. Since November 2010 to till date (six months, to be precise), four films of the actor (‘Uthamaputhiran’, ‘Aadukalam’, ‘Seedan’, ‘Mappillai’) had hit the screens.
And now, the son-in-law of the Superstar has completed his forthcoming film too- ‘Venghai’, directed by Hari. “Done with Venghai. It is a typical mass masala commercial film,” he says.
Playing opposite Dhanush in ‘Venghai’ is Tamannah, his ‘Padikadhavan’ pair. A rural entertainer set in southern Tamil Nadu, expectations are high on ‘Venghai’, since Hari’s ‘Singam’ was one of the top grossers of 2010.
Besides ‘Venghai’, Dhanush is also hoping high on ‘Irandam Ulagam’, in which he joins hands with brother Selvaraghavan after a long gap. “It is an emotional entertainer which talks about human relations,” sources say.
